Start 2025 off the right way with our 7 week weights course for men in the borough! Weight lifting and stretching are useful at any age, and integrating resistance training and stretching into your routine can keep you feeling healthy and strong. Horizon are hosting a 7 week weights course at the new Wellbeing hub (Horizon Leisure). The Hub is situated on the ground floor of the Meridian shopping centre. The course is for men in the borough to learn about lifting weights, in a safe environment with a trained professional. The aim of the course is to give the participants the confidence and skills to be able to continue strength training in gym environment or doing home workouts. There are only 8 spaces on this course and we don't know when the next course will be. The first session is FREE and then £20 payable at the 2nd week, at reception in the Hub. When you book on, please ensure you complete a Get Up and Go registration form, if you have done one before you don't need to do another one.
